(Kindle 2017) This is a branching narrative telling the story of one day in the life of Eva, a nurse in her mid-twenties. At the end of each chapter is a branching point – choose a number (like, roll a die) and follow the hyperlink to the next chapter. Told in over 500 chapters, there are over 500 pathways through Eva’s day, many of which are remarkably different from one another. No one day is longer than a dozen chapters, and many are shorter (average about 9 to 10 chapters), but you can always start again and find a new day. And ask yourself what happened to the other day you read about last time.
