I have written two books on healthcare, in 2001 and 2006, followed by books of fiction starting in 2013.
In 2001, as I began writing my first book-length work, I was 57 years old and had been writing one thing and another for most of my life. There were times when what I wrote was mostly “for the moment,” and has long since passed away. Much of it is buried in archival files on my computer. Some of it is still interesting, even today.
At this point, my short writings (virtually all under 4000 words, generally about 2000) are all either advocacy, commentary or philosophy. My philosophical writings deserve further introduction. They are a somewhat special group (find them here). Much of my advocacy and commentary writing is basically editorializing on the state of the healthcare system (find them here). In recent years, I have occasionally been invited to speak from the pulpit of a Unitarian Universalist congregation (those sermons are here).
As I write in 2017, there are many of each that have not been posted, but it is my intent to continue working on them to get many more of them before you. I hope you enjoy what you find.
